MORE Upcoming Special Events

Jeez, these guys are busy. MORE pres candidate Julie Cavanagh (and maybe Jack) will be at the Park Slope event today. I will be there with petitions.

If attendance is low, it may have to do with coordinating an event during a vacation break. For many teachers, today is the day to run because it's such a short vaca. I hope future dates take the school calendar into account.

Understand. So much going on on Fridays -- next week is a NYCORE event for the election.

I thing that the illustration you chose for the article is great and perfectly summarizes the approach of most of the union members. It's not enough to be a member and not to do anything. Then you will get the same frustration as a member of the gym who does not see any results, because s/he doesn't attend any trainings.
