In my opinion our first priority needs to be getting rid of Trump. That is more important than anything else. are the democrats great? of course not but the racism and overt disregard for the free press in this country that is coming from this president is outrageous and unlike anything I have seen in my lifetimeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33431390.post-49913554311181222802018-11-08T11:05:58.315-05:002018-11-08T11:05:58.315-05:00I feel your pain about Crumo. It's not an endorsement of them, but wanted to help ensure they keep an automatic line on the ballot.Unitymustgo!https://www.blogger.com/profile/14117390123313141745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33431390.post-2524851834945432322018-11-08T10:34:13.656-05:002018-11-08T10:34:13.656-05:00Third parties--particularly the Green Party--are s...Third parties--particularly the Green Party--are still capable of causing havoc.

The margin of the probable loss of D nominee, Kirsten Sinema, to right wing R nominee, Martha McSally, in the Arizona senate race is 1/2 the number of votes for the Green Party nominee, who withdrew from the race after it was too late to remove her name from the ballot:

"After seeing the most recent poll numbers, I felt the only way I could make my Senate race matter is to withdraw from it.I knew I wasn’t going to win, so being a true candidate for the people and not the politics, I felt that if I withdrew and could endorse a candidate closest to the ideas and views of those whom I represent, then at least I can feel as though this withdrawal from the Senate race will not be in vain. So I made the hardest decision of my Green Party campaign and that was to drop out and endorse Kyrsten Sinema of the Democratic Party. Although not perfect, she is better than the alternative."

We will get the usual argument from the left that Sinema just wasn't progressive enough--compared to what, a R neanderthal who reinvented herself as a full-Trumpian? Here, at least, the very same Green Party nominee said all that needed to be said.

https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/elections/2018/11/07/did-green-party-candidate-angela-green-spoil-race-kyrsten-sinema/1923691002/
Harris L.noreply@blogger.com
