Thank God some one is listening

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this Norm. Much better than anything the UFT has said.
ReplyDeleteNote Randi's body language as Johnson goes after mayoral control with a vengeance and her tepid almost forced applause.
ReplyDeleteWell put. The arrogance of corporate elites will not take notice until more good people like Mr. Johnson make a stand. I don't believe in speaking truth to power; power doesn't listen. We need to get this message out to those can share in the power. I will get his video out to the membership at my school. His position is exactly what our union's postion on privatization SHOULD be. But, we have no vision at the UFT, just a mission statement with the usual platitudes and bureaucrats postioning for personal advancement and/or remaining comfortable in six-figured salaries and double-pensioned jobs.
ReplyDeleteThe mere fact that all comments are anonymous is a testimony to the fear that our teachers AND ADMININISTRATORS have in regard to speaking up about this awful administration. I too shall remain anonymous!!
ReplyDeleteRandi should be congratulated, not put down, for her frank relief at having company for her well thought out and timed campaign to unseat mayoral control in 2009(or de-uniionizatuion, as it has worked until now).
