These are the people running the UFT

Son Of Unity has left the following comment [about 50 times on many posts on many blogs]

Seriously, does ICE even serve a real purpose other than to drive a wedge within our union? Has ICE ever accomplished anything worthy of mention? And no, a sham presidential candidate in the last election, shoddy quality YouTube films, and heckling during the Delegate Assembly doesn't count. -Son Of Unity, the next generation I'll be back!

Let's see now Son of Unity. You just spent more than an hour in the summer time doing this. On blogs that serve no real purpose according to you and therefore probably are not even read by anyone but families and pets.

We can't wait for your next visit. Maybe it will keep you too busy to screw the membership of the UFT. Hey, aren't you the guy with the Green Dot on your forehead?

Son of Unity being prepared by Unity Caucus faithful for his Jihad against the ednotesonline and other blogs critical of Unity Caucus.

  1. Son of Unity, about your multiple posts .... You know what It reminds me of? Middle-school kids, when they write their tags all over the blackboards.

But, then I remind myself they're just marking their territory, like dogs peeing on trees.

I chuckle to myself about children and their ways, then wipe the board and get on with the lessons.

  2. I would certainly be interested in hearing someone address my comment about a sham presidential candidate in the last election, shoddy quality YouTube films, and heckling during the Delegate Assembly.

    I'm not surprised nobody has.

Anything about ICE worthy of mentioning today?

    I didn't think so.

Woodlass sounds like a wonderful educator. Perhaps Woodlass is on the ICE executive board. lol

  3. If you insist SOB- er U:
You're right about everything. ICE is useless. Videos were shoddy. We promise to never heckle or say one more word at the DA - we'll just skip it and go right to the pub. And next time we'll run Hillary. Any other issues bothering you? If not, go back to your cave.

  4. Son of U., is it possible that you missed the point entirely?

Some of what kids do is typical of human pubescence, and some relates to mammalian behavior in general. Tagging certainly falls into the first category and quite possibly the second as well. Good teachers wouldn't necessarily allow this activity, but would understand it as an adolescent "urge" and something most kids will grow out of eventually.

Unless, as in your case, they don't.

  5. ed notes online, have fun at the pub! You and your group won't be missed as you guys generally don't have much to contribute at the DA.

woodlass, is it possible that you are back tracking? It certainly seemed to me as if you were comparing junior high school children to wild animals. Please choose your words a little more carefully in the future. The DOE loves to take a wide interpretation on chancellor's regulation A-421 and it'll never please me to see a fellow union brother or sister face such allegations. I hope I've helped to educate you today, no need to say thank you.

  6. You poor SOU. I've monitored how much time you spend reading my blog. How pathetic! Isn't there a ball game you might watch? Or go to the beach? Very sad. I guess you must not be Redhog who is getting paid 60 thousand of our dues money to monitor the opposition blogs for Zahler. By the way, Hitler was also very hard working. Not that I'm comparing Zahler to Hitler. Maybe Stalin.

You don't think we can't see the source of our blog visitors is so often from UFT offices? Without you guys as an audience it just might not be worth continuing.

While we're in the pub - and increasingly more and more independent non-Unity delegate will be joining us - the real meetings will be taking place there while you can hold a Unity only delegate assembly -- maybe phone it all in and not show at all. Hope you'all have fun.

  7. Son of U, your comment is fascinating. Here's what we've seen:

    * Teacher comments on a typical kind of adolescent behavior, importantly: within a satirical context of an adult's childish blogs.

    * Union person either doesn't have the range of classroom experience to understand the comment or, from his own feelings about kids, mischaracterizes its meaning and intent.

    * Union person calls the teacher's skills and/or character in question.

    * Teacher explains the original remark.

    * Union person, apparently unable to accept that he misunderstood the original comment, accuses teacher of backtracking.

    * Union person reiterates his own incorrect interpretation of the remark, this time more colorfully and irrelevantly, and connects this kind of thinking (his own, not the teacher's, mind you) to verbal abuse behavior in the classroom (A-421).

    * Union person ends by thinking he has educated the teacher.

Yes, he has, and teacher thanks him for this insight into Unity-think.

I can't believe we're paying these people out of our dues.
