ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, keep emailing Mayor Bloomberg and Chancellor Walcott your specific complaints:
mbloomberg@cityhall.nyc.gov
dmwalcott@schools.nyc.gov
Send copies of the emails and responses to anyone and everyone who might find them to be of interest.
Post the emails and responses on Craigslist, Facebook, New York Teachers Chatboard, etc.
It'll take a while, but if enough people start writing, things should begin to happen.
