Principal Sam Garrison threatens Newark Opt-Out students with cancelled basketball season

BREAKING--In Newark, Camden Street School students whose parents signed PARCC opt out forms have been called in by the principal Sam Garrison and asked who gave them the forms. The students were told the school's 8th grade basketball season might be canceled. Teachers, apparently, were blamed, but the forms were readily available on the office counter.

  2. Mr. Garrison would never threaten students. He has the utmost integrity and he always looks out for the well being of his students. These wild accusations are libelous.

  5. Mr. Integrity is currently out of compliance in regard to federal and state statutes concerning Physical Education, Special Education, ESL/Bilingual Education and teachers working outside of their certifications. Plans for September include eliminating self contained LD classes, altering IEPs and placing students in inclusion classes.
