  1. If you are elected to the top leadership will you call a strike over issues such as privatization and going back to unsafe conditions? How will you work with other unions?

    1. It’s stupid to call any strike unless there is a massive call for one by members. Chicago is out because over 70% voted. I still think that number is a bit low. I’d like 85% to back a strike. And you don’t strike over ideology but if they privatized whole swaths of the teaching and support people and laid off thousands than I’d hope people wouid strike.
