Today: Rally with rank and file educators for the New York Health Act
The UFT (United Federation of Teachers) is one of the few large unions
in New York City that has failed to support the New York Health Act, a
bill that would create universal healthcare in New York State.
Today at 4 p.m., teachers and allies are rallying outside
UFT’s headquarters at 52 Broadway to demand that UFT put its weight behind healthcare justice for millions. Please

a bill will finally be introduced to preserve our Medicare with premium

Because this is a stated meeting, access inside City Hall will be
limited. BUT! We rented a truck to live stream the meeting for you
and are trying to get chairs so you can sit. The Meeting, if it begins
on time, starts at 1:30 PM.
