Teachers at PS 193 in Brooklyn decided to rewrite the lyrics to a well-known song from Grease. They performed it on the morning of June 23, 2010 in front of the school. Some arriving parents and students got a great kick out of seeing their teachers fighting for them. Ed Notes was there to cover.

Awesome! They rock.
ONCE AGAIN:
WHY ISNT THIS SORT OF NEWS ON THE UFT WEB SITE?
TEHY CAN JUST MAKE MULGREW'S PHOTOS SMALLER.
WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER- MULGREW AND HIS COAT HOLDERS ARE JUST NOT INTERESTED IN THE MEMBERS.
The UFT will be doing a story in the NY Teacher on this event. UFT VP for elem schools Karen Alford was there and they sent Jeff to shoot photos. Mulgrew was supposed to be there.
The New York Teacher? What is that? The former union "news" paper?
The place to read ads?
A web site is supposed to run breaking news the same day- that is why Mulgrew is fighting this "war" with a big SURRENDER sign on his back.
The members will get the "news" two months after it happpens?
The video should have been posted the same day but the chapter leader is in the "opposition" (she ran against Unity) so they deny the members the right to know what happpens- more Mulgrew pettiness.
Thanks to Ed Notes for telling us.
Did Betsy quit or was she fired?
Anyone in Long Beach know the answer?
